EFC partners with EMC to “grow the cleantech economy”

June 11, 2021 – Electro-Federation Canada (EFC) has partnered with Electric Mobility Canada (EMC) “to fight climate change and grow the cleantech economy” by promoting the adoption of e-mobility and its associated infrastructure.

“As electric mobility is evolving at a very fast pace, it is essential that all actors involved in this ecosystem collaborate in a meaningful and productive way regarding technology adoption, up-to-date regulation, and EV education,” said Daniel Breton, president & CEO of EMC.

Under the partnership, EFC and EMC will:

• Collaborate to encourage change, sharing information on issues and activities that support the adoption of zero-emission vehicles with EFC’s Electric Vehicle Systems Business Section.

• Advocate for change, identifying gaps and raising awareness on subjects relating to legislative policy and product standards and regulations, as well as propose appropriate standards development strategies.

• Educate to change, providing access to pertinent publications, training materials, and other relevant resources relating to e-mobility and the infrastructure requirements.

“Our partnership with Electric Mobility Canada allows EFC to have a seat at the table and be involved in influencing electric mobility infrastructures so our members can continue to lead the design, manufacturing, supply and servicing of these new systems […],” said said Carol McGlogan, president & CEO, EFC.
