Li-Cycle recognized by Corporate Knights for its growth as a sustainable Canadian company

TORONTO — Li-Cycle Holdings Corp. a company involved in lithium-ion battery resource recovery and the a lithium-ion battery recycler in North America, announced that it has been selected by Corporate Knights as one of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Sustainable Companies.

The Future 50 Fastest-Growing Sustainable Companies in Canada is a ranking published by Corporate Knights to highlight emerging Canadian companies whose business activities align with the transition to a clean economy. The ranking considered over 6,000 companies’ revenue, capital expenditure, acquisitions, research and development, and employment. Corporate Knights, a Canadian media and research B Corp committed to advancing a sustainable economy, has been producing global corporate and fund rankings for nearly 20 years.

The Future 50 list includes companies from a number of different sectors and Canadian provinces, providing tangible examples of how a net-zero economy can create an abundance of new opportunity.
